Stamping with blocks

How gorgeous are these colours ?
I've blended pool party, Bermuda bay, wisteria wonder, blackberry bliss, Tangello twist and hello honey markers to get this misty, foggy sunset background.
I've used your normal garden variety whisper White cardstock as my base.
The colours are applied with the stampin write markers
direct to the clear stamping block.
Then the block is lightly sprayed with water and "stamped" onto the paper.
When the background is dry, just stamp some flowers in the foreground.
I've used flowering fields from the Saleabration catalogue.
And the Thankyou is from another SAB set "what I love".
Very quick and simple to stamp.

Flowering Aussie fields

These Simple line drawn field flowers look so elegant on crumb cake card stock.
The "Flowering Fields" stamps are just perfect for our Australian summer hand made cards.
Can you pick the Australian native flowers in these images?
Boronia, Waratah, Protea, wattle...
How will you interpret these gorgeous flowering Natives?
I think this white embossed and water-coloured card is just beautiful.
It also stamps up very prettily in Basic Black archival ink and markers I've created this week.
I've used a touch of white signo pen to hi light the Waratah petals and some sparkly
Wink of Stella pen for the wattle flowers.
Did I mention this stamp set also has matching Designer series patterned paper?
"Wild Flower Fields" DSP is free with a $90 stampin up order during Saleabration.

A balloon celebration!

Today's card is a "Copy and Share" of a card on page 13 of the occasions catalogue.
The stampset is "Balloon Celebration" and it is bundled with a matching balloon punch.
We changed up the colours a little bit... A few more purples and less pink on my version.
This is a really lovely set of stamps with balloons, words, clouds and dandelions.

The variety of uses for this stamp is endless, 28 photopolymer images and the bonus is when you buy the bundle you get 15% off and at $64.50 goes a long way to getting you toward that free Saleabation set you've been looking for.

A nice cuppa with a grateful bunch of timeless textures...

It looks a little busy in the cold light of day but I really enjoyed playing with the have a cuppa paper stack on this card. I've mixed it up with the stampsets, too.
The butterfly is from Grateful bunch and the sentiment too.
Then I grunged up the paper with a few splatters from Timeless textures.
Love the coffee rings!
Did you spot the enamel dots in the centres of the butterflies?
They are so bright and colourful.
The cut outs are from the Cups and kettles framelits, the number of years dies and Project Life  framelits ...

Saleabration! The second stage...

We are officially half way through the Stampin' up Sale-a-bration!
The best time of year, when for every $90 that you spend on your favourite products, you get a free gift that you choose yourself!
Today, the second stage of SAB has begun... Two new stamp sets have been released and new rolls of metallic glimmer ribbon / glitter tape are an option too!
Just a quick update today, let's have a date at your place with friends to make some cards. Hostesses get extra rewards during SaleAbration too.

The Sky is the Limit during Saleabration

When I saw this stampset in the Saleabration FREE list I took a liking to the "Happy Birthday" and the clouds, then tried to talk myself out of it. What do I need a plane stamp for I make so few male cards?
Well, I love it! Much more than I thought I would.
I've made thank you cards, a farewell and a very quick Birthday card already!
How fabulous does this plane look flying through the clouds of marbled paper?
The "Perfectly Artistic" paper pack is free too!
I've rock and rolled the stamps on the ink pad in Bermuda bay and Island indigo
to get that two-toned colour effect and popped the cut out plane on Dimensionals.
Don't miss out on this little plane set, it is a limited edition and only available until 14/2/16.
by the way don't you think that the heart shaped cloud will make a cool Valentine's image?
