My cards all contain products and stamps from the Occasions and Saleabration catalogues:
This first project is a gift card holder made with some gorgeous Coastal Cabana cardstock and Saleabration patterned paper. Have a close look at the tag on the front it is punched with the newest Tag topper punch. Top and bottom of the 2" wide piece is punched so that there is a hole top and bottom to thread a ribbon through.
Pull on the ribbon at the top and out comes the gift card. A very simple gift card holder.
My second project uses the bow builder punch this is a favourite as is so easy to punch out a few pieces and stick them on with glue dots.
As you can see the tails of the bow can fold behind or below the bow. The words say Many Thanks, and are from the "Crazy For you" stamp set.
On my late night creative adventures I found a beautiful flower made with the build a bow punch. I had to have a go at it using some pretty floral paper like the Painted blooms DSP. My sentiment is also from the "crazy for you" Framelit and stamp bundle.
This morning I put my Butterfly Basics bundle to work to create this CASE of Deb Valder's acetate window she calls laser cut technique.
I've used some of the delicious Sahara sand lace ribbon and a "Something borrowed" embellishment to the ribbon.
So there are my four projects using stamps and products from the Occasions Catalogue and Saleabration catalogue.

Bokeh technique

Recently I've seen quite a few YouTube videos showing cards with the "bokeh technique" as a background. So I just had to give it a go.
"Bokeh" is a photographic effect when the background points of light are out of focus and appear as circular shapes.
So as you do, I decided to have a play at this technique and came up with these.
The paper used is thick water colour paper, coloured with stampin up inks, water and white craft ink sponged on with a mask of punched circles.
To start I sprayed the water colour paper with water, just a fine mist.
I added ink with a sponge dauber using crisp Canteloupe, Coastal Cabana and Blackberry Bliss.
Let it dry a bit. Sunshine and a breeze does the trick.
Then i cut circles in a piece of plastic/ acetate and sponged the holes with white craft ink.
Then using the sponge dauber I added a few spots of white. Maybe I did too many...in some spots.
The craft ink takes a few hours to dry so you can hit it with the heat gun or leave it overnight.
Then I stamped some leaves from the "Butterfly basics"  stampset and the happy birthday.
Lastly I added the butterfly Framelit die cuts on dimensionals.
Ta dah! the Bokeh effect!!! Enjoy.
